I graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School in 1985. Following 4 years working as a junior doctor in a variety of specialities at The West Middlesex University Hospital in West London I entered General Practice, moving down to Barnstaple in 1993 to take up my current position. I enjoy all aspects of General Practice, my particular areas of interest being sports medicine, minor surgery, joint injection, migraine and psychological medicine. My wife works locally as a physiotherapist and we have 4 teenage children. My interests outside medicine include sport and fitness – I am a keen cyclist, and music – I try to play the piano and a selection of guitars when time permits.
